Service-now Users and Screen

  • Users are categorized by role in service now.
    •  End User: Who don’t have any role
      • Who can generally access the “Self Service application Menu”.
      • Who can raise an incident and change by using catalog item’s, which  are in Service Catalog
    • Admin User:Who has admin role
      • Who is responsible for development
    • ITIL User (Limited access User): Who has ITIL role or the limited role which are not responsible for Development.
      • Who is having limited access except the development part.
      • Who is not responsible for Development
      • Who is working on the modules which are developed by Admin
    • Maint User:Who had Maint role.
      • Who acts as a Super Admin

 

Service – now Screen

 

  • Banner frame: runs across the top of every page and contains a logo, global navigation controls, and tools.
  • Application navigator or left-navigation bar: provides links to all applications and modules.
  • Content frame:displays information such as lists, forms, homepages, and wizards.
